Handcuffed to a fence in Mississippi
Driving home after a bachelor party where he had too much to drink, Dave got caught by the highway patrol. His girlfriend asleep doesn't wake up to pick up the phone. The patrolmen on their huge Harleys got no space for him. Left to himself for a few hours, time for them to come back with a police car. His car by the side of the road, his driving licence far from him. His wrists are hurting from the metallic cuffs hanging from the barbed wire. The men, before they left, didn't find anything to tie him to and reluctantly chose to leave him by the barbed-wire fence.
Exhausted and pretty much drunk, it took him some time to realize where he was. he could have tried to think his case over, why and how he ended up here. But he passed out quickly and fell asleep, his arm high in the air above his head. Wind blowing, stars shining in the night sky, coyotes howling in the bayou. He remained there, burning with heat from the alcohol and the summer night, until a car passed by, a couple coming back from some party in the nearest town. They saw him and imagined a hundred of possibilities... but didn't stopped. Arrived home and twittered what they had just seen: "Dead man hanging to a fence in Mississippi".
